  • 31 Jackets of Zhong Neng Project completed the Test on Completion (ToC) sucessfully on June 29, 2023.

  • The 11th Board Meeting, 2nd Board of Directors of SDMS was held on September 16 2022. Director Bao-Tuan Hung was elected as the Chairman.

  • Six 100% localization Jackets of Ørsted were sucessfully load-out from Singda Harbor.

  • The 1st Transition Piece(TP)+Upper Block(UB) of Zhong Neng project was assembled.

  • SDMS signed a Jacket Foundations Supply Contract for Zhong Neng NO.29 Offshore Wind Farm with China Steel Power Corporation.

  • The 27th Board Meeting, 1st Board of Directors of SDMS was held on September 17 2020. Director Rong-Yuan Hsieh was elected as the Chairman.

  • SDMS signed a contract in Greater Changhua Offshore Wind Farms Jacket Foundation Transition Piece Industrial Relevance with CSBC Coating Solutions Co., Ltd. on May 5 2020.

  • SDMS signed a contract in Greater Changhua Offshore Wind Farms Jacket Foundation Transition Piece Industrial Relevance with CSBC Corporation, Taiwan on April 15 2020.
  • SDMS conducted the Administration Building Completion and Blessing Ceremony on April 27 2020.

  • SDMS signed a contract in Jacket Foundation Transition Piece Industrial Relevance with China Steel Power Corporation on November 13 2019.

  • Ørsted and SDMS unveiled the First Made-in-Taiwan Transition Piece Mock-up on September 6 2019.

August

  • Notified by TUV, SDMS successfully obtained the ISO 9001 and ISO 3834-2 verification certificates on August 22 2019.

June

  • SDMS conducted the Mock-up TP kick-off meeting in Denmark, and reached an agreement with Ørsted. Mock-up TP (Transition Piece) will be attached to the Greater Changhua Project with an additional contract (3 million US dollars) in June 2019.

April

  • SDMS completed the negotiation with Ørsted on 26 April 2019, and received the activation notice of contract (FNTP) on April 30 2019.
  • SDMS conducted the cash issuance of new shares and increased capital by 13 trillion, after increased capital set at NT$3.421 billion.
  • SDMS conducted the second recruitment session for employees. The written examination was conducted on 5 May 2020, followed by the interview sessions during 20 to 24 of May 2020. The admission list was announced on 10 June 2020, and the qualifiers reported for duty in order in the last third of June 2020.

January

  • Ørsted published the press release about “Establishment permit and power purchase agreement delayed on Taiwanese offshore wind projects” considering the Bureau of Energy didn’t issue the preparation license on January 2 2019. The contract signed by SDMS and Ørsted in November 2019 had been suspended. Ørsted would look at the FIT rate of 2019 and decide whether to continue to execute the contract or to adjust the price.
  • SDMS conducted the cash issuance of new shares and increased capital by 13 trillion, after increased capital set at NT$2.121 billion.
2018

November

  • Assigned three groups of engineers to Nervión Industries in Spain for technology transfer, including: industrial design, manufacturing process, project management, industrial safety management and Sandblasting & Coating…etc.
  • In order to increase our own certificated welders, we have entrusted the Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan Regional Branch and the Kaohsiung-Pintung-Penghu-Taitung Regional Branch of Workforce Development Agencies to implement welders’ vocational education programs, and recruited total of 44 trainees
  • SDMS signed a contract in Greater Changhua Offshore Wind Farms Jacket Foundation Transition Piece Industrial Relevance Contract with Ørsted. This is the frist order form for SDMS.

September

  • Entrusted the Center for Regional Industry Academia Collaboration, National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology to hold the first recruitment session for employees. The written examination was conducted on 14 September 2018, followed by interview sessions during 5 to 6 of November 2018. The admission list was announced on 12 November 2018, and new employees have reported for duty by groups on 3 December 2018.

August

  • SDMS conducted the cash issuance of new shares and increased capital by 8 trillion, after increased capital set at NT$8.21 billion.

July

  • The 4th Board Meeting, 1st Board of Directors of SDMS was held on July 10 2018. CSC assigned Mr. Ya-Chou Wang as Director of the Board, to substitute Director Ching-Chung Cheng for his unexpired term.

June

  • Signed the training contract with Spanish subsea foundation manufacturer Nervión.
  • Ørsted visited and conducted the Mock-up TP kick-off meeting with SDMS, which was the very first project for SDMS.
  • SDMS, represented by President Lu, signed the LOI of Mock-up TP with Ørsted.

April

  • The 1st Board of Directors of SDMS held the 1st Board Meeting. Director Ching-Chung Cheng was elected as Chairman, and Mr. Wu-Hsiung Lu was hired as president.
  • Held the ceremony for plant construction of SDMS and industrial chain alliance.
  • Completed incorporation registration, and gained our GUI number 42816688, capital set at NT$3.421 billion dollars.

March

  • The CSC’s 16th Board of Directors adopted an investment project of NT$3.421 billion dollars on establishing an subsea foundation manufacturing company in its 16th Board Meeting, and an subsea foundation production line would be built up in the Kaohsiung Marine Technology Industrial Innovation Zone, Singda Harbor. The establishment was estimated to be completed by December, 2019.
